WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions.  Equally as important as the technical experience, is that the candidate be self-driven, yet collaborative, possessing a high level of initiative, and technical curiosity.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.  At Acuant, while each team member is responsible for their own work, we are highly collaborative and support each other when a team member needs help.  So, while it is important that the person coming into this role is self-driven and can work independently; it is equally important that they value teamwork.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.   If you are also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d  like to meet you!  We are agile centric running 3 week sprint cycles.

If you have experience working internationally, that would be great!  We often collaborate with our colleagues in the United States; primarily, Palo Alto, California and Spokane, Washington.

Key Qualifications

·          3+ years of industry work experience

·          Strong Java

·          Strong React or Angular

·          Strong object-oriented design

·          Ability and desire to build application from pixels to database

·          Ability to take abstract user requirements and build a product that addresses the underlying use case

·          Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·          Fluent written and spoken English

·          Ability to work within a small high achieving team, as well as independently

·          Self-driven, highly motivated, innovative

Desirable

·          GraphQL, Apollo

·          Cassandra

·          Light Linux administration

WHAT YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Our platform is very big and supports a diverse pool of clients to include ecommerce sites, search engines.  The platform is enhanced and customized to fulfill the need of a particular client. 

You will be implementing solutions for an enterprise portal for financial transaction analysis.  This includes visualization of big data effectively and with high performance.
