Sobre esta posición:

This position requires a detail-oriented person with the ability to create processes and procedures, work with business and IT across the company, and ensure data quality and governance standards are met.

Responsibilities:

-Define the data and identify assets within their own data domains. This ensures there isn’t conflict with other data elements.

-Create processes and procedures along with access controls to monitor adherence. This includes establishing internal policies and standards—and enforcing those policies.

-Maintain quality of the data using customer feedback, concerns, questions; internally reporting metrics; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.

-Optimize workflows and communications.

-Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.

-Ensure compliance and security of the data. Data stewards/Data Professionals are responsible for protecting the data—while providing information on potential risks and offering regulatory guidance.

-Work with a tool to enable common concepts/terms (glosarry) and their different usage across the business and IT.

Requirements:

- BS in mathematics, computing science, engineering, or similar.

- Experience in understanding business processes and the associate data to be able to identify the data flow and its meaning.

- Experience soliciting business requirements for the purpose of improving and/or formalizing processes.

- Experience with data modeling, data profiling, writing and executing SQL queries.

- Experience in improving data management and operational processes.

- Demonstrated ability to articulate, persuade and communicate the value of data and data management best practices.

- Strong business analysis skills and background.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven team-player with strong interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a strong quality mindset.

- Business and technical documentation.
