Position Overview

Brightcove seeks a Digital Marketing Specialist who is an expert in PPC/SEM advertising. You will help manage our SEM channel day-to-day, driving customer acquisition by optimizing existing campaigns, launching new ones, and working with cross functional teams to drive lead volume and pipeline. This is a highly tactical role with a significant impact on the business that requires analysis and execution in Brightcove’s search engine accounts on a daily basis. In this role, you will be an active contributor to the strategy and execution, as well as daily maintenance, of our North America SEM program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee and execute on initiatives to increase paid search traffic and revenue.
  • Constantly dive into campaign performance metrics to maximize yield and surface new learnings related to performance.
  • Use data and appropriate analysis to report out and make informed decisions on bids, ad copy, and landing page performance.
  • Keyword research & analysis -- i.e. build keyword lists, analyze search volume, etc
  • Monitor competitive best practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance.


  • Minimum 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 2-3 focused on SEM
  • Fluent in search marketing platforms Google Adwords and BingAds
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization and A/B testing projects and tools
  • The ideal candidate will be Google AdWords certified.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, multi-lingual a plus
  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
  • Organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
