Purpose of the job: 


Frontend Developer managing end-to-end web experiences. Key person to transform Marketing and consumer feedback into web experiences.


Key activities:


  • Develop the front-end of a high traffic, external facing website (mobile and desktop), containing online

  • marketing material which includes social media, landing pages, retail partners links and affiliates displays, etc.

  • Create and design a strong front-end to maximize customer acquisition through customer activation and retention.

  • Build customer-facing UI to both attract new customers and simplify existing users experience.

  • Understand the target audience and can create solutions to foster ease of use, i.e. customers who are not digital natives.

  • Work with graphic designers so ensure visual content is aligned with front end framework, wireframe.

  • Work with the marketing team to ensure that the front-end wireframe and UI flows makes sense and are relevant to the user experience and maximize for both: PPC and SEO sources.

  • Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.

  • Support in the discovery journey to maximize efficiency across consumer touchpoints with constant and fast pace iterations, collaborate with A/B testing, enabling the web experience to support multiple tests.

  • Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications.

  • Communicate scenarios, end-to- end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders.

  • Work with marketing and visual designers to incorporate the visual identity of Clip into features and better web driven outcomes (from traffic to conversion).

  • Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed.


Requirements:


  • Proficient in Linux/Unix web systems and comfortable with Mac/Windows

  • Software design and architecture, unit testing.

  • Node.js development and frameworks such as Express, Angular, React - Strong 

  • Database integration, internet communications, JSON,HTTP.

  • Javascript/CoffeeScript and related tools and technologies for web development.

  • Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and APIs.
