  • Basic Qualifications
    • Space and power planning for installations, decommissions and relocations of Hardware within DXC’s Data Centers.
    • Validation workload placement, what question do we need answer, power numbers are correct, Kit list correct, collect rack diagrams, high availability requirements/special equipment relationships, special cable types (DAT)
    • Update responsible in WLP as the owner of the request for communication/questions
    • DOMS first pass tile allocation for organic growth and decommission
    • Engage the onsite site lead for validation of tile assignment
    • First pass of creating power order if needed
    • Engage the onsite site lead for validation of power order (is there already power there, is it the right power type)
    • Ensure tickets are opened correctly and security requests are entered properly
    • Attend planning meetings with accounts
    • Ownership of WLP through to completion of installation/removal of device and associated updates
    • Updating status and communication to requestor along the process
    • Provide training and feedback to project managers and requestors

    Education and Experience Required :

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
    • May intermediate-level certification(s) in work field.
    • Typically 2 - 4 years of relevant experience

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

    • Fluent in English, Certification level required.
