Support Analyst for SharePoint/ SaaS Applications – Reports to OSM for SEU IT
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
- Ensure optimum performance and stability for multiple systems for the Finance, GPPS & Science functions in AstraZeneca, including providing workarounds and identifying areas for improvement or solutions to permanently address the issue
- Provide 2nd/ 3rd line support (technical queries, bug fixes and small enhancements relating to application and platform), complying with Astra Zeneca standards, change control procedures
- Take ownership of issues through from delivery or issue resolution or escalation, as appropriate
- Support development activities by helping in code build and deployment, tool configuration management and administration, application environment set up, change and release management
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups
- Develop specialist knowledge in relevant systems, documenting and sharing that knowledge, as required, with global teams
- Liaise with multiple stake holders including business users, infrastructure/middleware teams, 3rd party software vendors for resolving issues and potential process improvements
- Train, guide and mentor new hires in the team
Essential Experience: (Must have skills)
- 2 to 5 years of prior experience in application Development and maintenance(L2/L3 support) of off –the-shelf and custom applications
- Good Development experience in SPOL Client Side development, REST, NINTEX forms and Workflows.
- Development and Troubleshooting in SharePoint 2013 and 2016 on premise environments.
- Development and troubleshooting experience on web applications built on the Microsoft .NET framework(ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#)
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, XML,HTML ,CSS concepts
- Experienced on IT Service management tools like Service Now, Remedy or Service Manager
- Understanding of SoX guidelines, GxP regulation and other compliance processes and experience in compliance/regulations related documentation
- Familiarity with life sciences(Pharma) domain concepts, workflow and terminology
- Experience in application support especially in the SharePoint online environment and SP 2013/16 on premises environment.
- as well as enterprise-wide migrations
- Ability to create and configure custom workflows, Web parts, document libraries, lists, navigations to cater to the business requirements
- Good understanding of PL/SQL concepts and experience working with SQL Server(2012,2008, 2005)
- Understanding of incident, problem, change and release management process
- Experience working with third party vendor applications
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups
- In-depth understanding of SharePoint's system design and architecture, development, testing, deployment and maintenance in support of multiple user groups
Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)
- Exposure to SPfX is an added advantage
- Appreciation of financial processes and systems like budgeting and investment, compliance ,auditing and taxation, reporting and forecasting, cash and treasury management, reconciliation and payment systems
- Experience working with Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Visual Interdev, Microsoft Visual Studio tools, SQL Server Enterprise Manager, Toad
- Experience in setting up and managing application environments
- Mindset to support business critical applications
Educational Qualifications
UG - B.Tech /B.E. or other equivalent technical qualifications
