Project Manager

Education and experience:


•Systems Bachelors degree

•Excellent writing, listening and Speaking English skills

•5+ years of experience of managing projects throughout the product life cycle, inclusive of developing and coordinating budgets and schedules

•Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with external partners, clients, team members, vendors, and management

•Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse cross-disciplinary team of developers across a variety of engineering domains including electrical, software, firmware, networking, data center concepts and verification plus validation

•Demonstrable experience in solving a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways, and evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams

•Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

•Ability to maintain a high level of proficiency while working independently and clearly and concisely communicate as a member of a team

•Familiarity with Agile development and processes preferred

Essential functions:

•Lead and integrate cross-functional teams and manage deliverables in a matrix organization

•Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

•Establishes clear expectations and deliverables, and develops project plans towards these goals that ensures alignment across all teams for each stage of product development

•Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project, scope, and budget

•Identify and implement solutions to improve tracking, planning, and collaboration

•Works with cross-functional team leaders to identify and allocate resources

•Serves as primary point of contact for management regarding progress and goals

•Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client

•Ensures internal project documents are complete, current, and stored according to client’s Quality Management System

•Acts as primary point of contact for partner institutions, consultants, project part vendors, etc.

•Plans and maintenance of product life cycles from ideation through commercialization and manufacturing
