Mechanical Design Engineer

ME is the mechanical design leader in the project to develop and deliver, high quality mechanical product for new technologies within the specified timeframe and cost. A plus is having knowledge for Optical and Displays into the Automotive Ind, as experience in Quote phase, program development to meet customer requirements to ensure the Product Quality.

Typical Duties

*Review and evaluate mechanical requirements for design and Provide feasibility study of proposed concept by providing the MBOM (mechanical components assumptions)

* Develop mock up CAD design, manufacturing and assembly sequence assumptions with input from Advanced Manufacturing

* Translate styling data into product design that meets functional, quality and financial targets by Conducting feasibility study

* Run TDR for Mechanical design, Define and conduct Tolerance Stack analysis on part and assembly and verify results

 

Requirements                                                  

Years of experience:      3 + years of experience                                    

Degree strongly preferred:         BS on Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering

                * CAE Analysis                                  

                * Materials and composites knowledge

                * Design for Manufacturing
